Burberry have officially started Christmas with the release of a special short film celebrating the life of Thomas Burberry the founder of Burberry. What makes the film special is the star-studded cast including Sienna Miller, Lily James, Domhnall Gleeson and Dominic West. And trust us, it’s really special! It may only be 3 minutes long but this film has it all, drama, love, fashion, war, everything you’d expected from the talented Award- winning Asif Kapadia. What really got our hearts racing was Sienna Miller, who looked radiant as Thomas Burberry’s fictional first love. Her look from start to finish got us thinking…. this would be perfect for a wedding, and why not? The lace white dress, the classic updo and the perfect addition of a military jacket. Sounds like this seasons must have bridal look. Here’s how you can look a chic as Miss Miller on your wedding day.
Take inspiration from designer Anna Campbell. Her wedding dresses, in particular, this silk tulle number, are enchanting and feminine, just what you need to truly capture the romantic tone of the era.
The Wedding Accessories
Let us not forget the jacket, a military jacket, just like the one in the film is the perfect cover up this Autumn/Winter. Although not the traditional cover-up, the military jacket is one trend that lends itself to any occasion. To complete your look all you will need are a pair of elegant pearl earrings and a few diamante hair clips. Less really is more for this ensemble.
When it comes to your hair the classic bridal hair up is all you need. This hairstyle lets you choose what you want from soft curls to a French braid or loose strands of hair framing your face; you can have anything that suits you and your hair type. The end results are the same, romantic.
